Facebook videos continue to see significant YoY growth, but similar to YouTube the distribution of views is nowhere near equitable though - less than 2% of YouTube videos generated more than 86% of total views on the platform. Again, mirroring YouTube, with over 1 Billion videos uploaded to Facebook each year, "going viral" is no easy feat and establishing a steady audience is unattainable for most. Add to this the difficulties that Facebook's algorithm imposes on organic reach in favor of ad supported impressions, and the opportunities on Facebook appear bleak.
